Nicely made pants that feel like they would be comfortable, but as others have mentioned the sizing is incorrect - I recommend you order one size up. I also found the rise a little short but maybe thats just a function of the sizing being out. These will be going to a suitably sized friend.

Ordered these for my hubby for his next long range fishing trip. Since space is limited it is nice that he can wear them as shorts and just zip on the legs as needed - all in one. I guess it gets cold occasionally. He likes the amount of pockets for storage of small parts/tools. The material will allow it to dry quickly. Ordered the size large, short length for his normal 35"waist, 31" length and it was a good fit.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
