Hardly true to size. I wear a 38 waist and ordered XXL. Bareley fit, I returned them. The overall quality seemed good however.

I own a lot of Mountain Hardwear clothing and it is all great and really is true to size. These were the first exception. Must be mismarked. Feel at least two sizes too small. Could not even come close to buttoning the pants. Even went to get several other Mountain Hardwear pants from the closet to make sure I just did not get fat. My other same size pants fit perfectly. Will be sending these back.

These have got to be the oddest fitting MH pants that I've ever had. I took the previous advice and ordered a size up and still the waist was snug, but the legs were insanely wide starting from the crotch to the cuff. They're much wider then my previous three pairs of Mesa Pants, and seem about an inch longer then normal in the inseam. Sadly, they are to be returned for those reasons. On the plus side, it's the usual excellent MH fabric quality, color, and stitching quality. I just wish they fit like other MH products.

Great fabric, but the cut was bizarre. These were tailored at the factory for someone with thighs the size of (2) Hulks but a flat as a pancake backside, and some sort of fit in the crotch I won;t try to describe. If you're at all proportional, you'll barely be able to get these on to check the fit.
