Mountain Hardwear Microchill Jacket - Fleece (For Women)

I'm not a huge fan of fleece--there's a lot of it out here in the Pacific Northwest--but the color of this lightweight jacket caught my eye. When I got it, I was not disappointed. I'll mainly use it to walk my dog, wear to the gym in cool weather, and keep warm in my house. I think some of the comments noted that it ran large. I didn't find this to be the case. I'm 5'8 and 123 lbs and the small fits fine, though I wouldn't want to wear a bulky layer underneath. Also, because of my height, I wouldn't have minded a little more length; a tad bit more room in the neck once zipped up also would have been nice.

This is the 3rd microchill fleece I've purchased. I have one in black and purple as well. LOVE this fleece. It's extremely flattering and the quality of fleece is excellent. It's surprisingly warm for being so thin. I might have to get one in green...

I always wear a small in clothing. Most coats or jackets I order a medium because in order to wear hoodies, long sleeve shirts or even more than just a tank top under them, they can feel too snug. This jacket definately needs to be ordered up a size. The small fit perfect over a tank top but with anything more than that (for example, a long sleeve t-shirt) the arms were too snug. I returned the small for a medium and now it can be worn over any everyday clothing. Great quality and color. Great price with a coupon! (I am 5-7, 130 lb., wear a small or size 4, 34C size chest).

I bought this fleece to use as a lightweight layer for outdoor field research, but it wasn't as warm as I thought it would be. However, it fits great and is flattering, comfortable and stylish, and the price was so good I decided to keep it and use as a casual fleece.
