Mountain Hardwear MicroChill Polartec® Jacket (For Women)

Good fabric, soft and not heavy. Can be worn over layers if you order a size larger than normal. Sleeves were long enough, even for my long arms!

I had to give the first one I ordered (Size XS) to my daughter as it was a little tight. I ordered Small this time and it's perfect. I'm 5'2" and the chest size is 33-34. The jacket is cut in a figure-flattering way and I got a compliment the first day I wore it. It's light but keeps me warm.

I ordered this jacket with high hopes, but when I received it, it did not fit like other Mountain Hardwear items that I own. All of my Mountain Hardwear jackets/shirts are medium and I ordered a medium in this jacket. However, either the jacket runs large or is cut very square as it was too large in the torso and was unflattering on me. A small was not available in the color I wanted so I returned this item. If you are tall and thin or prefer a more fitted jacket, this may not be the jacket for you.

I realize the gussets probably are meant to allow free movement when the jacket is zipped, but I don't like the way they look. They stick out. They're not visible in the photo.

Nice looking, lightweight yet warm, but cut very tight through the torso. Great item if it fits

Very light, comfortable and warm! The seams don't chafe when wearing short sleeves underneath. I love the zipper - no bunching or getting in the way.

reading other reviews i thought i'd order a large. but alas, it's a tad bit too large. i could have gone with a medium in the end. it's not my ideal polartec, was looking for something a bit more lightweight, but it's not super overly bulky and warm. so a good choice!

Great lightweight, soft fleece for everyday use, to the gym, to the store, hiking, walking with the dog. Sleeves are a bit long, but I just roll them up once.
