based on reviews I had read about this product I ordered the next size up and it is def too big. Fits good in the chest but really long. Looked to see if exchanging w/next size down avaliable (XL) and none avaliable. Like the fleece and def good 2nd layer

I purchased one of these shirts last winter and wore it for nearly every outdoor activity....namely backcountry skiing. It is the perfect weight for layering as I find "normal" thickness fleece jackets to be too bulky and too warm when active. I wear this Mountain Hardware shirt with a thin wool t-shirt, then, depending on the activity, temperature, and wind, some insulating layer over it or just a shell. I purchased another of these as they seem to run a little small...I had XL and traded up to an XXL (I normally wear XL)...however it is very stretchy so if you don't mind things a little snug your normal size should be fine.
