Mountain Hardwear Mistral Jacket - Fleece (For Women)

I was worried about the color, but it doesn't look so bright - good for gloomy winters. Definitely a great deal! Sleeves feel a little short, but I am a big XS.

I just got the jacket and I really like it. It is soft, a nice fit and nice color. I'll probably wear it under a vest or on its own.

We bought this jacket for my teenage daughter, who is off on a wilderness canoe trip in Northern Canada. She adores the color (turquoise) and the fit and the feel of the jacket. It is very soft and warm and appears to be quite well-made. She is using it for an outdoor adventure, but I'm pretty sure it will become her favorite jacket next winter. I don't know yet how breathable or windproof it is, because we just bought it.

I looked up the Mountain Hardwear sizing which I think runs a bit on the large side, and the size I chose works great. I am a petite so not everything in regular sizing works. The sleeves are a little long, but that is the only thing making this not perfect. And sometimes sleeves that are a little long are not a bad thing! I love the color and the material is so soft and cozy. The office air conditioning is freezing and this jacket is soft, comfy and a delight to wear. It also has some shaping, zippered pockets and a small sleeve pocket located on the upper left arm. All in all, I think I will be wearing this jacket for a long time. My hope is that the fleece maintains its loft and softness when the jacket is washed.

I keep trying to make Mountain Hardwear products fit me, but they don't. I purchased a medium. This jacket in particular is huge in the chest (34A)on me and snug around hips (39). I really wanted this to work, It is soft and crazy warm. I simply couldn't get past all the gaping fabric on top and under the arms. I returned; exchanging for a different size would not solve problem.

I can use it very day.

This jacket is so warm and fuzzy. I where a 8-10 and bought the medium...it fits very comfortably with room to layer underneath. If you like a tighter fit, order down a size. Fairly wind resistant. Great for being cozy around the house or for adventures outside.

This fleece jacket is perfect for between times when a heavy jacket is too much and a light shell is not enough for my walks along a water trail in the northwest. I am getting tired of short boxy jackets. The length of this jacket is more low hip and keeps my lower back warmer. The nap is simply perfect, and so cozy! I like that it is wind resistant too. When I opened the package and looked at the odd medium blue shade (more aqua), wasn't sure I'd like it but found it goes great with my jeans, and I have received many compliments. I'm 5'7, wear a 12-14 and the large fit perfectly. Love it!

Love the fabric, love the fit, chocholate color is great. Receive compliments every time I wear it. I'm sorry I didn't get one of every color when I placed initial order.

I walk my dog every day. This jacket does what it promises on the tag.Looks great,is super comfortable and keeps the wind at bay.I live by the ocean in B.C.
