Mountain Hardwear Monkey Lite Fleece Jacket - Polartec®, Thermal Pro® (For Women)

For my 79 yo Mom ! ~ already purchased one for myself. She loves it. Fits her as well as it does me. She is more petite & I have longer arms. Only wish the hood edge came down a little further on my forhead but I have "poofy" hair to contain !

I had bought this as a midlayer in winter, or warmer layer in summer for skiing, climbing etc. The idea is great but the fit is terrible. It seemed to go out from the chest down and gaped like crazy round the waist. I have pretty small hips but this was still ridiculous, I could've wrapped it round myself twice almost. The sleeves and chest fit fine though. Had to return it, which was sad cos I had such high hopes for it.

This fleece is super cozy. I like it a tun. The arms are a good length but the thumb holds are close to being a bit too far up the sleeves but it still works. It is great for a cool day hiking if you don't want to wear a jacket. It also is great underneath a ski jacket. It seems to cut out the wind really well. The hood it a good size, though I don't really utilize it that much. Though when it is windy it is really nice to put on. The only two things I found to be a bit big was the lower half of the jacket and the shoulder region. I ordered a medium becasue I don't like loosing length on my clothing so this might be part of the bigger waist and shoulders. I am 120lbs 5'7" and I think that a small might have worked but I don't like my shirts super tight.

I love this! Super comfortable and very lightweight.

I am 5'6" and 118lbs and the small fits perfectly. Fits well around the hips, not too clingy or tight but not too loose either. Jacket is super lightweight and packable, great for hiking or backpacking, or just for hanging out. The sleeve length is perfect for me as I hate a sleeve that is too short or rides up when you move around. Color is fantastic, I got the red and it's bright but classy.
