“Denali Killer”

“I'm a big fan of Mountain Hardwear products and this jacket definitely tops my list. I've been looking for warm, thick fleece - around the warmness of Polartec 300 - for a while now. The only option in my size range is the North Face Denali jacket, which I hate because everyone and their mother owns one. (Plus I feel TNF quality has gone way down since they are "trendy" now). I also considered the Patagonia R4, but the fit was really weird on me. This jacket is really warm! I usually get cold easily, but this jacket kept me toasty warm in this windy city! The sleeves are a tad long - I'm 5'2" 105 lbs and got the small - so I ended up folding the elastic cuffs in for a better fit. I can still wear medium-weight sweater under and have just enough room to move around. I probably could have gotten away with the xsmall, but I prefer to have some room for layering since I have thinner fleeces, like the MHW Lynx, for milder weather. If you like the warmth of Polertec 300 and hate wearing the same TNF Denali jacket as everyone else, then this is definitely you should consider!”
