    Pros:
    breathable, Light Weight
    Cons:
    Hood not fit over helmet
    Best Uses:
    Casual, Hiking
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I needed a hard shell for ice climbing and heard some good things about MH's new DryQ elite material. This jacket fits the bill so I was excited. But as soon as I tried it on, I realized the hood didn't fit over my climbing helmet, which was a deal killer. The men's version for my husband worked just fine with his helmet. The fit was a bit small compare to the Stretch Cohesion. I am almost always size S in MH but this one doesn't allow any layering under. Maybe if I size up the hood would fit better. It has a nice thin fleece lining, which I liked better than the nylon and mesh lining on the men's version.

    Pros:
    Good price, Water Proof
    Cons:
    Cheap feeling, Cheap looking, uncomfortable
    Best Uses:
    rain
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This raincoat is waterproof, however, it is unattractive and uncomfortable--so says my girlfriend. I got this at over 50% discount bring the price to a little over $100. I soon realize that this jacket is barely worth the sale price.

    Pros:
Light Weight, Room for layering, Very soft
    Cons:
    Price
    Best Uses:
    Raincoat, Snowshoeing
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I bought this jacket for a snowshoeing trip to the mountains. I bought it to use as an outer layer which would keep the wind and rain out. It really worked. The inner lining also provides a bit of warmth so you can hold off on layering until you really need it. I have used it as a raincoat in the city as well and it kept me dry. I normally wear a small and bought a medium which provided the space for base layer, fleece and down jacket. I bought the blue color and got several compliments on it. The chest pocket is great because I was able to keep a small video cam in it while on the trail. The fabric is soft both on the inside and outside. I didn't rate it a perfect because of the price.
