    Whether you're on a chilly Boundary Waters adventure in May or skating on the pond in January, layering is the key to staying warm. This jacket - combined with a Merino Wool base layer and a quality wind/rain shell - provides excellent warmth. The full length zipper allows for ventilation as needed when you are really active and a good neck-high seal when you are not. Excellent addition to a layering system.

    Perhaps I didn't read the description carefully enough, but this is a very lightweight jacket. Almost like a heavy t-shirt. I will be returning, as I was looking for a jacket with some actual insulation somewhere. Other than that, it seems nice, though.
