“These are great pants. Fabric is thicker than my other convertible pants which is great for spring and fall weather. That makes them slightly heavier for backpacking, but they are worth it. Legs are wide and easily accomodate long underwear. These pants are very long. I am 5'8" and tried on a friend's pair of petite pants which fit me better length-wise than the regulars did. The pants do have a nice draw cord at the ankles which helps deal with the extra length. I will definitely buy these again, but will probably order the petite length.”
