“Petite is Not Petite”

“I was so excited by the price that I ignored the comments suggesting the petite length was not correct. Now I'll be sending these back. Other than the length, these are perfect convertible pants (a little heavy for backpacking, but otherwise a good outdoor pant.) The construction is fabulous, and there are lots of little features like the micro chamois-lining at the waist, a non-abrasisve belt, a front zip security pocket, a pocket knife snap hook, ankle zips, reinforced knees and rear... They are the Cadillac of convertible pants, but like a Cadillac, they are just too big. It pains me to return these super pants, but the length just can't be modified. I'm 5' and there is at least 5 extra inches in the leg. I expect petites to be a little long, but not dragging on the floor. I would recommend the petite length to my taller friends.”
