    BUMMER. i am about a 29 3/4 waist and these 30's are super tight. believe the negative reviews on size and buy an inch larger. mountain hardware makes some killer clothing. no one is perfect but where was the quality control when they ran these shorts??

    Had a pair of these shorts from a year ago, and just bought two more. They are longish in length, but are designed so well that this becomes a strength not a weakness. Close fitting with out being tight. Great pockets.

    Despite many reviews stating to order one size UP, I went ahead and ordered a size 32(my normal size) which turned out too small indeed. STP didn't have size 33 or 34 when I ordered mine. I'm returning it. Having said that, I like the high-quality, lightweight material and would order again(but definitely one size up) when STP has them in their inventory. I would recommend this ONLY if one can get the 'right' size.

    I read the posts about ordering a size up. I always wear a 34 so I ordered a 36 and, Surprise!, I got a 36 which is too big. I even measured the waist; its exactly 36", so I'm ordering a size 34 now. I would say their sizes are spot on,,,so I don't get it. Great shorts, Though!
