    These shorts are true to size in the hips and thighs but they have the gaposis thing going in the back of the waist. I have a waist that is smaller than my hips but these shorts only taper to the waist in the front. Too much material in the back of the waist. The internal adjustable elastic waist remedies this but you can definitely tell that there is elastic in there because it's all ruffly when pulled in by the elastic. The rise is good: not too low cut, just below my natural waist.
