Very nice jacket if your a slim guy. Not good for me I'm 6'4" and 250 lbs. with large shoulders and chest. The jacket is a very athletic fit that wouldn't allow me to layer underneath it. I also found I have another jacket I bought years and years ago from cabelas that uses the exact same material for the shell. Let me tell you that material is unbeatable and durable.

Warm, waterproof, breathable top layer. Size up. XL fits me perfectly, with plenty of length in the sleeves. L was too tight. I'm 6'1" at 190lbs. I always have trouble with arm length. This one is perfect for me in XL. I get a new shell each year from STP, and this one is BY FAR the best I've ever had.

Great jacket with athletic fit. Large fits my 6'1" 175 pound frame with room for layering. Finally, a coat with sleeves that cover my long monkey arms! Used on several early winter hikes and plan on using for downhill skiing. Completely waterproof and decent breathability - pit zips are great. Only 2 negatives: although the hood cinches, it is large and slightly akward when not wearing a climbing or skiing helmet. Pockets are mesh inside, so there's a risk of getting snow inside wihle accessing them. Overall though, one awesome jacket!

Great all weather jacket. I use it for skiing and it performs great. Wear a fleece undergarment during cold conditions and then shed the fleece for afternoon comfort and remain dry and warm. Only disadvantage is no powder skirt; otherwise, very versitile, light, and easily packable into small space for travel. Have not used the water bottle pocket yet, but it should come in handy. If you are amidst constantly changing conditions, this is a great jacket to have in your armamentarium.

Nice coat except for sizing. Ordered a medium ( my size) and had to return for an extra large. Working outdoors for a living I have to wear many layers underneath ( long underwear, thick shirt and then a fleece).Unless you order a size ( or two) larger the Shell cannot accomodate this extra layering. This was surprising considered it is designed for extreme activities where layering is a common practice.
