I've used these pants backpacking and climbing in cold weather and snowshoeing and they have been great! Their good ventilation, stretchability, durability, breathability are major pluses for me. The built in belt is also a nice feature for an adjustable fit and does not get in the way of a hip-belt. The built in gator is too bulky for me, I removed it. Overall a very versatile pant and recommend by me!

Medium (8-10) was way to big even though I usually wear a size 8 Mountain Hardware. They were so big I could pull them off to my knees without unzipping! I tried a Small (4-6) because the M was so huge. The S was probably sized about right--too small for me. I was very disappointed because the pants seemed quite nice except for the size problem. When I compared the waists, the M was almost 6 inches bigger in circumference than the S. I'm guessing the M was mismarked.

There are a number of people that have commented on sizing, so I actually ordered both the medium and the small. The small fit me, but barely. I'm 5'0" and weigh 115 pounds. The pants were great in the length, butt and legs but a little snugger than I would have liked in the waist, but they worked. I absolutely was swimming in the mediums. So, I guess the thing with these pants is they could almost use another size like make the smalls now an extra small and then have a regular small and then the medium 'cause there is a huge difference in size between the small and the medium. Other than size - they are great pants!! Mountain Hardwear is my favorite pant and I feel sure these will not disappoint.

Can't comment much on these because the sizing was so off, I couldn't possibly wear them

I just got these pants in the mail 20 minutes ago. They fit perfect!! They are not bulky and make you look skinny. I only wish they had full side zips for ventilation.

I like that they don't make noise when you move in them like a lot of ski pants or waterproof equipment.

Everything fits great, except in the waist. I don't have an unusual waist size and these pants were too loose in the waist. However, not loose enough to get a smaller size. Suggestion, more elastic or a drawstring for a better fit.

I ordered these pants in a small (I am about a 6) they were way too small about a 4 and too short for me I am 5'8. I exchanged them for a med which ran way too large felt like a size 10 in the waist and there were not beltloops to hold up the pants up so I had to return them.
