“I have a pair of Mountain Hardware Powerstretch Tights that I love... warm, comfortable, lightweight and very durable. This style is designed for women who would like hip-huggers... the rise is short so they hit about 3 - 4 inches below the waist and I'm relatively short at 5' 4". Not a great feature if you want to have things stay tucked in and keep warm... not to mention that I didn't look good in hip-huggers 40 years ago when I was a teenager and still don't now.
Also, I find the Mountain Harware brand to run a bit small... I am a size 6 pant and the hips on the medium in this style and the tights just fit.”
