    I will use this product for alpine climbing mountaineering as a mid layer. Polartech Power Stretch material is durable and dries fast. It is my favorite mid layer for cold days. My only issue is the length of the sleeves which are longer than normal for Mountain Hardwear. Overall fit of the garment is slightly looser than most other MH garments of the same size. Will be easy to layer a midweight baselayer underneath without making it too tight.

    This is a smart purchase for those who do winter sports and know the value of having good base layers when the temps get down there. You can go with thinner layers for around freezing with high activity and other layers, but this is the kind of piece you need one of in your pack for long days in sub-freezing temps under eveything else.
