I bought this for my daughter to take to college and she loves it. She likes the slim profile of this pack (not too bulky). It still opens wide enough to find books and supplies easily. Lots of nice pockets to keep school supplies, cell phone, etc. organized. She doesn't have a laptop, so we can't review the fit, padding of the laptop compartment. Only missing detail - an external sleeve for a water bottle. Great quality as usual from Mt. Hardwear.

Love the quality of Mountain Hardware. This pack in particular is perfect for me as a new dad...I plan on using it as a diaper bag...so far its comfortable, weather resistant, holds diapers, blankets, bottles, extra clothes, lotions, wipes, pacifiers, etc...very easy to get to everything, one zipper and it opens into an organizer. The outer pocket is perfect for the burp cloths, quick and easy to get to.

I bought this pack to use as a day pack when traveling and occasionally going to work. It is well made and well padded. The computer compartment is well protected. I don't think the 1900 cu in specificaiton can be correct. It will hold a computer and maybe two books or a few magazines but not much else. It does have a nice organization system for pencils, cell phone, calculator etc. I think I am going to return it for something larger.
