“This pack is great for a laptop bag or to carry 1 or 2 books around town. It is too small for my standards of a daypack in the backcountry. However, we bought it for college use, and for that purpose it is great (if you only have 1 or 2 classes). The padding is good. In fact the padding would be sufficient for a pack 3 times the size of this one! The various compartments are great for storage of small misc. items.”
