But after wearing several days In a row I am in love. I wore all day skiing in glorious sunshine (we don't get a lot of that!) and was very happy with it. Got lots of compliments. It is not particularly wind resistant but then I didn't expect it to be. The fit was good and the color vibrant (Poppy Red).

However, everyone who had one (the hip people) told me I would be able to feel the difference that would cost me over $ 100 with that brand. Wow! I can confidently say that they were all wrong and I was right. Booyah! This jacket is every bit as good as North Face and costs a lot less. I'll admit, I'm not skinny. Other jackets squeeze my neck. But not this one. The collar is warm and not tight. It has the perfect proportions. It cuts the wind. It's soft on the outside and inside. I get more hugs with it, and I feel great when I'm wearing it. Will buy more products from this company "Mountain Hardwear" and from SierraTrading Post. because I received it Speedy Gonzales fast. A good buy.

This style jacket is more fitted than other Mountain Hardwear jackets I own, ordered a small like all my other items of this brand, but the arms are almost too short. It works though.
