Perfect for summer backpacking or, really, any season high-intensity activity because it packs up so small, is totally waterproof and extremely breathable. Of course, the material is incredibly thin, so it's probably not going to hold up over time like most other shells out there, and I'd probably bring a different jacket if I knew I'd be bushwhacking a ton. Still, it's held up great for me so far. Zippers may be flimsier than others out there, but it's ultra-lightweight... so, duh, be careful with it!

Reviewed by Erin from Cincinnati, Oh on Tuesday, July 26, 2011Great shell for the price. Incredibly light-weight and yet waterproof. For most women, I would imagine the jacket may be snug at the hips - be warned it is definitely fitted. I am petite, so it was fine, but keep that in mind.
