    These, like other things by Mountain Hardware I have owned, are of top quality. Be forewarned, however, that they run a bit small. I'm a 42/32 for pants, and these are not as loose or comfortable as I like pants. Again, though, these are of excellent quality.

    These pants are not for hot summer weather but they are perfect for cool or cold weather. They are not insulated, but very sturdy and block the wind pretty well during runs to and from the car for example. The built-in belt is a bonus and the M-H styling is great.

    Really comfortable, yet durable canvas material. Very soft, not like Carhartts (where they could stand up in the corner on their own)! I wish the belt was just a little wider or the loops were, so I could wear a nylon type tactical belt...then again if you do not have a "front porch" to restrain, this probably won't matter as much. Great value...retail for these is about 3-4 times as much as STP!!!

    Nice fit, durable material. The cuff cinches are useful for bike commuting Not sure if I agree with ordering a size down -- the pants are cotton and can shrink. I have a 40 waist (38 in some brands) and ordered the XL. The pant was a little large, so I washed warm, dried hot and they now fit and I don't need to worry about future shrinkage....

    These pants fit well. The mediums are closer to the 34 waist. However the built in belt takes up any extra room very well. These are a great looking pant to wear to work or on the trail. Casual look but dressy enough to wear in a professional environment.
