This fleece was a gift from my husband. I wanted something casual but not overly sloppy...a basic 50-degree type jacket for days when a coat is a bit much. He did a great job tracking this one down!

I am a huge fan of Mountain Hardware and I like the look of this jacket a lot. It's stylish for the type of jacket it is, it's soft but not like typical fleece that collects lint and such, the cut is feminine. Sleeve and jacket length are great - long enough for my monkey arms and long torso (I'm 5'8").

But...while the quality and overall look are great, the fit and function are not entirely what they should be. The jacket is stiff and a little rigid in the shoulders. Sizing is also an issue for me on this one. I always purchase small in Mtn Hardware but this one is a little slimmer than most of their jackets in the same size. I ordered the medium to try it out and it was HUGE on me. It seemed like an overly large discrepency between the two sizes.

I am keeping the small sized jacket but am hoping it stretches and softens a little over time. I think the stiffness has to do with the wind protection, which is a good feature and I'm glad to have that. I haven't washed this yet so am wondering if it also might soften up after that.

For the price, I wish it fit a little better. I'm keeping the jacket becuase it works for what I use it for and it's really cute and classy for the type of piece it is. It's not a good choice for layering at all and works best with a thinner Tshirt or sweater underneath due to the overall stiffness of the jacket.

Jacket feels stiff. Arms are way to long. Great quality though.

Very Nice jacket. I think it runs a little big.

Seemed to be a quality garment, for someone much taller, longer & bigger than me. Sleeves were about 2 inches too long, shoulder to waist about 3 inches too long to fit right. It is cut to fit women's curves.

I really thought the embossed pattern on the fleece was very attractive and was hoping that it would fit. The medium was too tight and the large was to big in the shoulders and long in the sleeves. I am 5'5" tall, weigh 142 and have a curvy but muscular build (if that helps). My shoulders are narrower than most, so I do have a hard time finding a good fit. Columbia size L is usually fine for me and allows me to wear a sweater underneath. This is also made using a wind-stopper fabric so it's not flexible - there's no give in the fabric.

I got this Jacket for my wife to replace her beloved, but worn out monkey hooded jacket. I have the men's monkey pro and I love it, but she wanted something wind proof as well. We thought this would be perfect, but it's not. It's not near as warm. It's basically a very thin fleece soft shell it's very similar to my MH Alchemy soft shell. It will get use as a soft shell, but a warm fuzzy fleece it is not. It does fit well, though typical with MH the sleeves are a tad long. No worries there though. Bottom line, if you want a stylish wind stopping LIGHT fleece, soft shell, this would be perfect. If you want a warm wind proof fleece, I'd look elsewhere.
