Not too low on the waist and not too high. extremely durable yet have enough stretch to be super comfy. There is a little bit of that "swishy" sound when you walk, but it's not too bad. Would be too warm for summer use, unless you're above 10,000' ! They are overpriced, unless you can get a good STP deal. Then they are worth every penny.

Question “Is this available only in 30" inseam? I have some Mtn. Hardwear pants that look identical to this (except color) and would love to purchase another pair. Mine are a size 8 but the inseam seems longer than 30". Are there different inseams available, or are all size 8s for this pant the same?”
