Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kayelle from Denver, CO on Thursday, February 12, 2015I ordered this same style beanie several years ago in blue & by far it's my favorite beanie. Can pull down over my ears or wear higher on my head if I need to cool down. So glad I found this one too. Wash & dry great, the original looks just as good as this new one. Works great under helmets.
Reviewed by ladylibrarian from Virginia on Monday, December 8, 2014Bought this for an upcoming trip to a colder climate, but have already put it to use several times. It keeps my head warm, covers my ears, and it is soft.. Love the color. Seriously considering getting a second one.
Reviewed by bike lady from Washington on Sunday, January 19, 2014I bought this to wear under my bike helmet on cold mornings. Living in the Seattle area this works just great. Because it's not that cold. Covers my ears and my head to keep the chill out, which I wanted. Wish I had bought 2.
Question & Answer
“the color described as "thunderbird red" looks more like fuschia on my computer screen. is there a way to see if it's a true red or more like a pink? I'm looking for a hat that matches my Mountain Hardwear jacket. Thanks!”
There really is no other way to show you, but in my opinion the head band is almost a pomegranate color and the cap is a pink/purple mix. I hope this helps.
