“Terrific Sweater”

“I really like this sweater. I have quite a few of the cardigan style in Small. After reading others reviews, I decided to try this out too. I am normally a small (Banana Republic/Gap size or sometimes a medium- depends on the brand), but for this top, I can wear both the XS or Small. XS is quite fitted, but follows my curves just right and is very flattering. Small looked a little bit slouchy on me, but I liked that I could layer it with a t-shirt underneath in the spring/fall, or a turtle neck in the winter. The cardigan style is a fitted cut with seams at the waist so it is less straight and the sleeves are cut thinner. This style has roomier sleeves. Also the sleeves are cut long because they are meant to be. The current trend is to have sleeves that are long and have thumb loops. Although this doesn't have the thumb loops designed in, it's arm length is such. I fold them back when I don't want them long. I love the heathered poly-wool fabric. Very pretty and eco-friendly. It's fleecy inside, soft but a little bit itchy when new. I machine wash in a laundry bag and either hang to dry or dry flat. I've noticed that this material has loosened and stretched out over time. Gets a bit fuzzy so it's not quite as smooth as when new. Pills a little bit, but they remove easily, not like how a cashmere sweater pills all over. The Sarafin sweaters have become my "go to" top for a casual, effortless but pulled-together look.”
