    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have an earlier version of this sweater purchased about 3-4 years ago. I love it. When I saw this version with a cute collar and nice colors I thought I'd try another. Not good! The sleeves are for someone with twigs for arms, which makes the sweater totally unwearable. I am a slender person with what I believe are normal arms, maybe even on the small side. The rest is ok, but the sleeves are forcing me to return the garment.

    The sweater is a nice cut that is fitted so it flatters but roomy enough to be comfortable and move in. Wool/poly blend is durable, soft and easy to care for while keeping you warm and drying fast. Outside is a durable wool weave and inside is very soft and plush most likely where the polyester is used. Stylish enough for town and functional enough for outdoor uses like hiking/camping. Also on a personal preference point, the colors are wonderful, all the shade I like.

    This would make a great weekend, casual, hiking layer. Unfortunately, I was looking for something a bit less casual to layer while traveling. I didn't' think the mix of fabrics & textures was suitable for my needs. I ended up returning it. That said, if I were looking for a lightweight casual layer to wear on the weekends this would be great.
