Mountain Hardwear Shasta Shorts - UPF 50 (For Women)

These shorts are very comfortable and plan to wear them on some modest hiking durring the summer.Would have liked more color choices and maybe a bit of elastic in the waist.

Great short...bought 3 pairs in different colors. Nice detailing.

High quality, great if you can get them to fit. For me, the waistband was too big, making them more low slung than I like, or than they seem to be in the picture. Worse, the legs were impossibly tight, even though the butt was about right. I am muscular, but as much so in the butt as the thighs, and I have narrow hips, and so my conclusion is that the cut is weird... the legs are just way too narrow. They were unwearable. I had to return them. Also, the brick color was yuck... sort of a roadkill-gut shade of pink, way duller than the more rust/cinnamon tone I had expected from the picture.

I love Mountain Hardware products. I have two pairs of shorts in a similar style these and wanted to add another pair. They're a nice quality, wear well, and are versatile. They seem to run a little on the small side.

Nice comfortable, cool, casual short. Dries quickly which is good with two small children. Lovely earthy neutral tone, goes with many colours. Good length and the adjustable string is great. Nice everyday short.
