Mountain Hardwear Spur Trail Shirt - Long Sleeve, Button Down (For Women)

I really like this shirt. It has many interesting features - hidden pockets, zippered vents, asymmetric closure. I'm still discovering new features. The sleeves are a tad long but I have long arms and many sleeves are too short for me. . The cuffs roll up nicely and can be secured with a striped ribbon that buttons to the sleeve. The gray color I got perfectly matches a pair of Mountain Hardwear pants I had previously purchased from STC.

I got this shirt for sun protection as it says it is 50 proof. Also I got it to have as a cover over tank tops. It dries quick and has vents as well as zipper pockets. I like the caribean blue alright but that is really as pastel as I want to go. I found a Mountain Hardware tank top that is really light and in the same color. The ginger color I just couldn't to and took it back to the outlet store. I'm happy with the flattering cut and the asymmetrical buttons down the front.

Being this product is new for me I do not know if it will retain smell or not. It does have two useful side vents and two zip pockets as well. I am long waisted and found the shirts to fit great. I really do like the asymmetrical buttons. I got the Caribbean Dream Blue in a size 6 and liked it so much I ordered the Gingerale in size 8 (I ordered 8 because STP was out of the 6 in that color). The 8 wasn't too much different than the 6. The colors are definitely different for me. They remind me of bright pastels. I'd rather darker colors but I like the cut enough to go with colors I don't normally wear. I bought the shirts so I have something to wear over my tank tops this summer. If you search enough you can find Mountain Hardware tank tops in the same color scheme as the shirts.

Admittingly, I have not yet worn this shirt in hot weather as it is still snowing. So I do not know how breathable it is or if it retains odor or not. I am quite pleased though with the zipper vents on both sides and the zipper pockets. But I do know that it fits and it is great for protection in the sun. I love the look, and the sleeves fit my long arms. I find it comfortable enough to move around with a tank and t shirt on underneath. I wear a 6 in Patagonia and a 4 in Prana. So I went with the 6 in Mountain Hardware and it works for me....long waisted, long arms, and fairly broad shoulders. I'm looking to get another color!

This shirt is really cute for a camping shirt. The fabric feels really nice and the fit is comfortable. The only problem I found is that it retains odor. I was hoping to use this shirt for several days while camping and found I needed to wash it often.

I shirt is a good fit and has lots of technical details, zippers, mesh etc but it's still very stylish and good for everyday wear.

I was attracted to this item as I wear a lot of Mountain Gear clothes, this one just did not work for me. The asymmetrical design is not really suitable for outdoor activities. I have returned it to STP.

This shirt is long, which I like, but it may not be right for everyone (tall, slender people are the best candidates). The sleeves are actually too long, but I wear them rolled and secured with the multicolor striped ribbon that I was delighted to see inside the sleeve, instead of a little strip of the same fabric as the shirt. I love the ventilation features and the zipper pocket. This shirt will be great for travel, and I will also wear it to work on casual days.
