Mountain Hardwear Tambora Gene Pants (For Women)

Not a quality pair of pants at all. I returned them.

The pant is a little bit long. But it has high quality and feels comfortable.

This is a very comfortable pant. I like the style and the color.

These are perfect everyday pants for a great price. The waist is not too low and the length is generous. When I first put them on, I thought they were too tight, but I have found that Mountain Hardware pants are that way. They loosen up. I wish one of the color choices was black. The legs are a bit straighter than they appear in the picture, which makes them easy to wear with any shoes.

Overall I think the pants are a good deal for the price. Designed I think maybe for an age group possibly younger than me, but I can make them work. Super comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and I'll have to hem them, taking abour 4" inches off. That's a little unfortunate as they have a cute hemline I can't duplicate.

love the pants, ordered my reg.size 8 but were to big so will exchange for a 6.

The fit was very strange, baggy and loose around the hips very unflattering, I tried these jeans in an 9, too big, and a pair of mountian Hardware shorts in a 6 and they were too small!

The pants are cute, well made and have a stylish cut. The fabric is lighter weight, i.e., they would be more of a spring/summer pant. Personally, I liked the look of the unfinished edges and, if you're concerned, it's fairly subtle. Cute flaps on the back pockets. I ended up returning them due to sizing issues. I'm about 5'8" and 140 pounds, kind of a lanky build. The size 8 were simply too big. The size 6 was a better fit, but gapped in the back at the waist.

Wow, I really like these pants. The fit and stretchy fabric are great. Style-wise, I wish the edges weren't freyed and I'm not crazy about the pocket-flaps on the butt. But even with that, they are very flattering and look great on. I just wish they were more in line with khakis I could wear to work on a casual day... they would be on the line.

I like Mountain Hardwear for their outdoor wear, but I never considered their clothes to be very stylish. These pants were a nice surprise! They have a modern cut and fall a nice distance below the waist (slightly low, not scandalously low!). I have a straighter figure- thicker waist, not a big butt- and this cut worked well. True to size. The unfinished edges are barely noticeable- we'll see how they hold up.
