Fleece is light to be sure but seems too light sometimes. The tweed fabric in this sweater jacket gives it just the right amount of weight so it feels secure and finished. Compared this with the Better Sweater and it holds its own at half the price! Love this!

I have fleece jackets, but this tweed in nicer in appearance than any fleece. I don't know how it will wear long-term but I'm hoping it holds-up.

I work from a home office...between dialing down thermostat in winter and cooler Michigan summers...I wear fleeces almost year round. Other reviewers sold me on this product. Really like the quality. One note...these are longer than typical fleece jackets, extending well below waist.. It is sharp and gives a different "stand out from the crowd" look from regular fleece or the ubiquitous soft shell jackets.

I have had mine for several years and with the textured fleece it stays looking nicer than many other fleeces I've owned. It's incredibly warm and fits well. The only down side is that I wish the sleeve was a little looser because the material doesn't always allow your arm to go through smoothly without bunching up the sleeve (sometimes). -

I've owned a black fleece jacket for about 15-20 years. I liked the idea that this was a little different. I was right. Has a cool white flecked tweed appearance, it's really warm and well made. Was concerned when I ordered about the blue-ish piping, but when I got the jacket, it was all black. For $56? Are you kidding?
