Warm, windproof and thin enough to wear under a lot of other headgear. the depth was perfect to cover my ears but not limit vision or feel too low.

I was hoping for something a little lighter and more breathable. This beanie is extraordinarily windproof and very warm. A bit tight for my 7/3/8" head. Wouldn't recommend for aerobic or high-exertion activities. First use on a brisk 1-hour walk with the dog had me doffing the beanie after fifteen minutes and going with a non windproof fleece beanie. If I was going to be sitting still for a while, or looking for something to wear to keep warm when stopped, this would be great.

Fits under bike helmet, small enough to fit in pocket easily. Blends effortlessly into sagebrush when falls out of pocket. Bought 2 more as replacement.

I was surprised how wind resistant and warm it was. A good choice for those who want a slim, warm, non-acrylic hat. I am allergic toward acrylic.

I wanted this to play ultimate frisbee. But the layer of fleece soaks up sweat, which keeps it wet and makes it uncomfortable. Maybe it was my fault for not knowing the fleece is undesireable. I'm not sure what the perfect use for this cap is.

It's thin enough to wear under my motorcycle helmet and warm w/o being bulky. The dome perignon is a better design in that it stays on my head better and feels better (softer) but is also more bulky. This beanie tends to ride up a lot: constantly pulling it back down.

great fit under road bike helmet, big enough to cover tops of ears and snug enough to roll up to cool down. Accidentally left it in pocket and wore it walking dog when breeze picked up - perfect to have around.
