    This is a great lightweight (very lightweight) jacket that can be worn as an outer piece with warm layers under (down to about 20 degrees) or as a layer just under a heavier coat. The sleeves have the thumbholes so they never ride up.

    Both the pullover and this hooded version are perfect for cold windy days .The cut is slightly large but that works well with a fleece underneath on windy, wintery days.It is so lightweight that it is barely noticeable and the colors are rich and highly visible an absolute for running or biking.

    My brother bought this for me for cold weather running. It's perfect with just this and a thermal run shirt underneath and I stay warm (and I am someone who gets cold easily). The wind-proofing is amazing.. with the hood (that stays up even when running), i'm not even aware there is wind until I take it down. Incredibly breathable and very lightweight. Perfect.

    The MH Transitions are some of the best clothing I have ever worn for running. I stay warm & dry, even when it is windy. It works from 0 to 50, I just layer differently underneath. It is best with a layer of merino wool.
