I bought the tights for cold weather bicycling. I ride for pleasure and exercise, no racing. The fabric is fantastic for blocking cold wind when riding. But the design seems poor to me. The cut seems odd, though perhaps it's my shape that is peculiar. The tights seem unduly high waisted. There is no or poor gripper elastic at the leg openings. I may pay to have ankle zippers added to taper the leg for improved fit.

I use this as a baselayer under windproofs or jeans when hiking, snowshoeing and riding bicycle around MN in winter. Product is trim enough to fit under loose clothing. Another pair is part of my 'survival' kit in trunk of car. Wicks well and blocks wind. Not the best for standing around insulation. Product is comfortable to wear. Quality of MH is the best.

These are not tights so the name is a little misleading. They are, however, great exercise (running/biking) pants for[$]. I ran in upper 20's with a polyester baselayer and they kept me warm without overheating.

Seem well made and comfy - maybe runs a size small. I recommend a size up. I wear 34 normally, size L (36-38) fit well. I am wearing as a base layer under a shell and as an outer for running in the cold - they're working great.

I have used the MTHR Transition Pants for several years. Now these are of a Different Material then previous line of pants. the material when new does not strech as much. But after several washs they lossen to give more movement.I Believe that MTHR has Opted for a new and tougher Material then their previous line. There is no drop in quality and for most uses they do the job. If you use MTHR Gear you know all the Answers I simply Trust Their Products!!

Perfect for cold runs. The windstopper is breathable but does not let a stiff wind through. There aren't any hand pockets. But there are pockets on the Transition Jacket if you buy them as a set.

I have used MTHR transtition tights for the last 2 Years from going on long hikes to doing serious hill training. They are for myself a Excellent piece of clothing to have with you on a hike or as backup.they provide good protection from cold winds and warm. I certainly have enjoyed using them and adding these tights to my outdoor gear.

This is as good a product as it gets for modern technology. It DOES stop the wind. It would get 5 stars if it were a little stretchy-er. When bending, it tends to ride 'down' if you don't have the drawstring tied sufficiently tight. That being said...'good stuff'.
