Mountain Hardwear Verglas Jacket - Conduit® Soft Shell (For Women)

I really really love the Blue River color -- it is the perfect blue! This is a really nice jacket. It is not as heavy as my old North Face windstopper, but it still effectively blocks out a good chunk of the wind. I ordered a medium (I'm 5'8" and 135 lbs) and I love the size of the jacket (just a little roomy for layers). However, when worn alone, the neck is pretty wide and the cuffs don't have tightening straps, so wind goes through there. When worn with a layer and some gloves, however, it's awesome! Great purchase!

This is a great jacket - stylish enough to wear around town, but functional enough for x-c skiing in mild conditions. Mountain Hardware quality throughout. The sleeves are probably a bit long for the average woman, but my arms are longer than normal. Nice inner cuffs to keep out wind and snow. The manufacturer's tags and online description mention "interior zip pocket" and "interior MP3 pocket with earpiece cord exit," but I haven't been able to find them.

Bought two of these for my twin daughters. They were not thrilled, as they wanted fleece jackets. Then they had to wear them while waiting for the bus and all of a sudden figured out that the soft shell was actually warmer because it did a better job keeping the wind off of them. Then they found out that it was also more comfortable in school and all of a sudden these are great jackets!!

Great jacket for the wind, chilly nights and casual outings!

Bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. It has been out in the snow, rain, wind and everything else the Keweenaw can throw at it and hasn't let her down yet.
