Verified Buyer Reviewed by Margie from Alanta on Thursday, September 11, 2014This jackets exceeds my expectations. I am very pleased.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by NEBubbie from Massachusetts on Wednesday, May 28, 2014I needed a versatile lightweight, waterproof jacket to keep me dry while walking in the city (Boston & NYC) during frequent visits with my adult children. This is perfect, it packs down tightly so it doesn't take up much space and keeps me dry even in heavy rain. I ordered a large (usually wear size 10) so I can fit a mid weight fleece underneath...I am good to go in almost all seasons.
Reviewed by youyyu from China on Wednesday, February 12, 2014My friend likes it very much. It is so cheap and fitted
Reviewed by Marcia from Boston on Saturday, February 1, 2014I am going to return this. I didn't understand that it's as light as tissue paper. The interior pockets are microscopic. There's so much Velcro over the zipper that you'd need two hands and five minutes to unzip it. I'm sure this is well made and would be great for backpacking, but for general rainy day use I want something sturdier.
Reviewed by Julie from Ohio on Tuesday, January 14, 2014Ordered a M, it fits perfect. I'm 5'4". Love the hidden pockets to keep items dry during hikes. Proud of my purchase!
Answer It is made of nylon that would not be considered a quiet fabric. The jacket has a 1 way zipper.
Question “Does the hood roll up?”
Answer The hood does not roll up.
Answer Mountain Hardwear does not provide a waterproof rating for their Dry Q Core products. This is what they say about it. Mountain Hardwear Dry.Q Core garments feature durable and innovative waterproof-breathable technology with metrics that meet or exceed industry standards, and are designed for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes who do not require outwear with the elite levels of performance found in Dry.Q Elite products. Mountain Hardwear does not source pre-finished fabrics, and they engineer each Dry.Q Core fabric layer by layer. While fabrics are being engineered, face and backing materials with unique benefits are combined to best meet the needs of the user, activity, and climate. All Dry.Q Core products are extensively tested to ensure the breathability capabilities will not deteriorate over time, making them versatile and long-lasting solutions for everything from a lightweight climbing jacket, to everyday rainwear.
