Mountain Hardwear Wagner Gene Jeans - Organic Cotton, Recycled Materials (For Women)

I love Mountain Hardwear and was so excited when I saw they carried "long" jeans, specifically 34". I knew when I pulled them from the box, they were not long. A measuremenet of the inseam revealed 29 3/4" rather than the specified 34". Additionally, the waist was gigantic. I love to promote a good product, but this sizing is way off in all regards.

These jeans were a weird combination of relaxed fit and skinny jeans. They were loose around the waist with a low-waist but then got really tight around the knees. The fabric is sewn to allow for knee movement but it ends up just looking funky. I returned them.

Well, I've tried two pairs of these so far, both ordered with a 34" inseam. The size 10 was large in the waist, and had about a 36" inseam. The size 8 was small in the waist, and had a 28" inseam. Had the size 10 fit, I would have hemmed them, but as it was, I returned both pairs. It's a shame, as the fabric is really nice, and the detailing on the back of the knees was cute. They're a bit low-rise, so be aware of that - maybe the pair that you get will be just right!

I love them. Caution the waist is at least one size too big. I like Prana Boyfriend jeans and these fit similar to them in the waist. Plenty long, neat knee design, good quality. I bought the Yuma pants as well. I had to size down in both and I rarely take a size down in sports clothing. - It was not because I got skinny!

these jeans look attractive before you put them on and find that the waist is really big and they fall so low on your hips that they would expose your butt the minute you bend down in them.
