    Great pants.Used for cross country skiing for 3 days did not get dirty. Snow brushes right off. Warm enough with just poly underwear at 10 degrees F. Freedom of movement.

    These pants are NOT water or wind proof. What they are is comfortable and ideal for layering in cool to cold weather. I wore these pants all winter in the New York Catskills from 40 degrees down to below 0 degrees and they always came through. Whenever I see them on sale I buy a pair since I am afraid Mountain Hardwear will "improve" or discontinue them.
