Mountain Hardwear Yuma Pants - UPF 50 (For Women)

These pants were recommended by a friend for my trip to Ireland. They will pack well and are so very comfortable. I ordered a size smaller than I normally wear.

Nice fitting pants with clean lines, comfortable for travel wear as they are easy to pack and almost dressy.

I USE IT FOR ATV RIDING TO REPEL THE MUD AND WATER AND IT IS GREAT

I wear these pants hiking and they are extremely comfortable! Love them. I was concerned when ordering about the lack of back or hip pockets but I found the size and position of the cargo pockets more than makes up for the absence of the others. I also like having the draw cord for adjust-ability though I wish it was on the interior (my only gripe) to maintain a cleaner line.

These are now my go to pants. I can easily layer silk underwear under them for warmth. They will be perfect in the summer for hiking/walking and they look nice enough to wear out to a casual dinner or whatever. They are lightweight, easy to pack, don't wrinkle. They do run a little short. I ordered the long and the long is a little bit too long.. I'll be keeping both the long and short, however. I'm sort of in between the two, probably a 33 inseam. I'm about 130 lbs, 5'5 and wear a 6. I could get by with an 8 as well as there is a drawstring in the waistline. I usually wear an 8 or a 6. It would be nice if the pants had a way of pinning up to make crop pants when one wanted to, but it isn't a deal breaker. I love the pockets lower and away from the hip area. They do 'swish' when you walk, but it is a quiet swish. When taking wildlife photos, can be hindering. That would be about the only thing I'd like to change as well as the price. They are a little spendy... not sure how durable they will be, we'll find out in time. I take photographs and seriously needed a pair of pants that I can wear anywhere (mainly wildlife photos). So far, these are perfect. Will be trying to get a pair in each color. I currently now have the black and the khaki. I also have the Pantagonia Mystery pants which are more dresslike and wide-legged and seem to attract lint like crazy, these do not. These are good working pants. You forget you have them on they are so comfortable.
