I bought these thinking they were the same design as the Yuma Convertible pants - just without the zip off legs. Unfortunately, they only have the cargo pockets - no front and no back pockets. The Yuma Convertible pants are my go to hiking and travel pants but they have front pockets. Without either front or back pockets, I opted to return these. Note, material is stretchy and comfortable and just a tad heavier than some of the lighter hiking pants out these days. Fit for me is a bit large for me (Size 2 for 120 lb 5'6'', ~28in waist), so I definitely need the tie.

I bought these pants for my wife and she loves them. She likes how they fit (true to size) and how they look and feel. She wears them while out and about, hiking and she wears them to work (medical field). Great pants!

I bought a pair of Yuma pants at full price from a local store two years ago. I have loved these pants for their comfort and functional durability. The discounted pants I received from STP were not the same. I have ordered from STP a couple of times before, with the same thought: are the clothes from this site outlet quality or factory seconds? The Yuma pants that just arrived are of a lower quality than my original Yumas. The soft inner lining at the waist that I love on my old Yumas isn't the same in the new ones, not as soft, not as thick. These pants fit smaller and are longer. If I'm getting a lower quality product for a lower price, then I don't feel like I'm saving money at all. It's only a deal when you get the same high quality for a "sale" price. These same comments hold true for the Mountain Hardware blouse and Butter pants I received in this order, lower quality than similar items I already had in my closet.

I wear around a size 8. A size 8 in other Mountain Hardware pants are a little large, but wearable. These were at least two sizes too big. The waist on the size 8 I measured to be 39 inches and the hips, 45 inches. Even with the tie at the waist, they are unwearable. They do not have hand pockets. They have cinch cords at the ankle, which make them difficult to rehem if they are too long.

You get used to the rustling right away. My first use was on our Grand Canyon vacation. Since I have used them for local hikes. They do well in warm weather but, with long underwear, could continue into winter I suspect.

I was really excited about these pants until I tried them on. The fit was terrible. I usually take a size 4 or 6. I purchased the size 6 and they were WAY to small. The do not have the next size, so I am unable to try again. I am returning them.
