When it came up as a barn burner, I ordered 2 more in different colors. I now have 3 colors and I am thinking of ordering the other. I use these for walking/running in the coldest of winter time. I am 5'2" 127 lbs, and I ordered the large. I have plenty of room for layering. Also, there are cords at the hem for adjusting, so the jacket is not too long. The quality is great. I believe I will have these for years to come.

Not so for me. I am 5'9" and 157 and the large, which is my normal MH size fit just fine. It is actually a little loose and will accommodate both under and over layering. It feels soft and warm. I will give it the full test in Alaska this summer. I also have monkey arms - and it's nice to have a jacket with sleeves that are long enough.

It is shiny however it does not look like a trash bag, it's not easy to describe. It is warm and perfect as a base layer that I need under my rain jacket while backpacking. Light weight and packable. A pocket would be nice but I have other jackets that have them and I bought this for one specific purpose. I typically wear a small but I chose the medium based off reviews since it is a pullover.
