I am a field biologist and am planning to use these pants to protect my legs from thorny plants and ticks. Great pants, I wear them around the farm fixing fences , mowing and cleaning stalls. Wonderful hiking in the woods and tall brush. Have had compliments from friends on the look and color. After wearing the pants and washing them for a week I decided to ordered two more pairs.
These do run slightly small in the hips. The color is more of a tan color than khaki.

I found them to be small in the hips, but that is probably due to my big belly. These are great quality pants. I hope my exchange is successful, but if I were you, I'd try them.||The color is not "Kaiki". (Do you mean khaki?) The brand name is Mountain Khaki. The fabric is a canvas type, quite rugged. The color is called "ranch", which is sort of a gold/brown/rust combination. Totally not what you think of when you hear "khaki".

No they are true to size. I have a hard time buying pants and these fit great for me. I am on the large 14 size . They are true to the color in the picture like a golden brown color.
