    While these are sold as seconds I could not see any defects in the two pairs I bought. Waist is sligtly smaller than normal so I will get one size larer next time. Great quality at a wonderul price.

    The sizing on these is spot-on. I love the gusseted crotch; makes for a much more comfortable seated position with crossed legs! I found these pants to be tough as nails...super high quality craftsmanship. The waist on these pants is high, just below the navel, which might be an issue for some people.     I liked the look of these Mountain Khakis alpine utility pants when I saw them on the STS site. I did not expect the pants to be so heavy, though. Too heavy for me. I returned the pants as I have no real use for that weight, nor functionality, even though I wanted to like it. These cotton pants are very heavy duty and should hold up in all types of outdoor activity. Great for utility work. It just was not for me.
