Better than Patagonia's old stand up shorts. These are made of tougher fabric, have a gusseted crotch and plenty of pockets. Lotta bartacking and rows of stitching. Make sure you get the proper inseam; 7 is great for hiking; 9 is better for work and 11 is too long unless you wear 34" inseam jeans.
Best Uses: Hiking, Outdoor work
Cons: Can Stand Up On Their Own, Long drying time
Pros: Rugged Construction, Very Tightly Woven Fabric
