    put together well these shorts will last a long time. The material is thick and gives you protection. I wore these short while putting up a tower stand and cutting shooting lanes at the deer camp and they exceeded my expectations.

    Based on reviews here, I ordered a size up. The waist measures 1.5" less than advertised, so sizing up worked in that regard. But the rise, both front and back is *really* short. The result is that these pants really grab you, and there is little give for leg movement. I do have muscular legs, but jeepers, aren't these supposed to be for hikers? They fit like speedos with legs. Maybe I got a defective/irregular pair, but I am not impressed with MK. It's a pity, because the construction and materials seem good.
