Mountain Khakis Village Shorts (For Men)

Front pockets are a little on the small side but the length and riser are good. Rear pockets are good too.

I have two pairs of Mountain Khaki pants and love them. These shorts don't disappoint either. They have the same quality construction and materials. I would rate these a five but for two small things that I would have liked to be different. One, the front pockets are small. I'm not sure why they didn't use the same pocket scheme as on the pants. And two, the metal buttons on the back pockets rattle as if the rivets aren't tight. This last is more a kind of annoyance but I thought it worth mentioning. Overall I would buy these again and have faith that they will last a long time.

These shorts are great. They appear to be very well-made and I hope they last a long time. The fabric is light weight yet retain the shape of the shorts (as opposed to shorts made of nylon). Oddly, there is a place to write your name inside the shorts. Why is this feature necessary? I easily removed it with a seam ripper because the name tag crinkled as if I carried a piece of paper in my pocket.

MK is changing from the metal buttons and flap covers on the rear pockets (old style) to the slit pockets and plastic buttons, so getting these old style is a great deal. Tough stitching, very durable cotton material that doesn't feel heavy or stiff. But will take a lickin'! I know own 4 pairs of these shorts and donated the others in my drawer. Get 'em while you can at this price.
