Mountain Khakis

The material is a bit rough for my tastes. I prefer a brushed nylon pant where as these have a very canvas feel. I like cotton Mtn. Khakis and Carharts so its not the thickness I'm describing but the feel...other brands like Royal Robins use nylon but its not as abrasive

These shorts fit well and are lightweight. Since they are made of nylon they will dry quickly. I will be wearing these shorts for hiking and camping trips.

Will be using on hiking trails in upper Michigan & Isle Royale. Just beginning to use these pants and will have a better idea of how they hold up by the end of the summer.

I use these pants for hiking. They are very well made. They're a little hard to get over my bum, I'm a size 0 so it's not a very big bum. I have 3 friends that wear these same pants and have the same problem. The waist opening is small 'cause they're low cut. Not much you can do about it unless you make the zipper longer. Don't know if that's even possible.

These pants are great for the price. The material is a little noisy, i.e., the nylon is stiff enough to make a little noise when you walk. Probably too casual for most offices but good for travel, climbing, hiking. I am 5'2" and had to hem my size 0R pants by about 1.5".

Based on reviews here, I ordered a size up. The waist measures 1.5" less than advertised, so sizing up worked in that regard. But the rise, both front and back is *really* short. The result is that these pants really grab you, and there is little give for leg movement. I do have muscular legs, but jeepers, aren't these supposed to be for hikers? They fit like speedos with legs. Maybe I got a defective/irregular pair, but I am not impressed with MK. It's a pity, because the construction and materials seem good.

Our 4 1/2 year loves all the pockets. Has adjustable waist band.

Note, these are a slim fit. Another great deal from STP.

these seem a little tight in the waist, but otherwise really nice pants. great fabric, style and color. lightweight, fast-drying pants should be great for hiking in summer.
