    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these for my 18-month-old daughter for backyard play, since they were advertised as having a water-resistant shell and the grass is damp in the morning. While the top of the shell is water-resistant, the sole itself is not! Her socks & feet quickly become very soaked from the dew on the grass -- not even rainy conditions. I'm very disappointed...now she wears them as indoor booties on cool days.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    We loved these for our prewalker. They are the perfect choice for keeping little feet warm while out and about. Easy to put on and off, yet they won't fall off because of the shock cord ankle strap. Got lots of compliments from moms who were tired of using socks or slippers as their only choice for keeping their babe's toes warm in the freezing weather. These are really just a slipper, but look more like proper outdoor wear. Probably wouldn't recommend as a replacement for boots for kids who walk though as there is no traction. We are buying a larger pair to use as indoor slippers this year.
