    I bought these for my 8 year old & got the XL size (9-10). She could barely shimmy into them. There is no waist button, they just pull on, and the fit was poor. I returned them.

    I bought these for my son in size large. He usually wears a size 6. They are really small around the waist so we sent them back. They are super cute though so for skinny kids I would order.
